Nintendo’s most anticipated Super Mario Bros. movie’s first trailer was released – Chris Pratt as Mario.
The first teaser trailer of the movie was released on Thursday. The studio behind Minions and Despicable Me, Illumination, and Nintendo released a trailer for the movie during a Nintendo Direct presentation which simultaneously streamed at New York Comic Con.

Finally, We got to hear the popular American actor Chris Pratt’s voice from Mario’s animated form. Also, the movie features the voices of Jack Black as Bowser, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Charlie Day as Luigi, Seth Rogen as Donkey, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, Fred Armisen as Cranky kong and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
Although the trailer is short, this animated adventure didn’t disappoint. the trailer starts with Bowser leading a massive Koopa army against Penguins, in order to find the star which will make him invisible. As Mario’s theme music plays he lands in the mysterious Mushroom world and is greeted by Toad on the adventure journey.

The movie is produced by illumination founder Chris Meledandri and by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. The movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic. Matthew Fogel has written Screenplay for the film.
The movie is slated to premiere in theatres in the U.S. on April 7, 2023, and in Japan on April 28, 2023.
